Summary:   The primary purpose of this position to find and land new business for Coast Workplace Solutions.  Coast Workplace Solutions is a fast-paced high growth company providing nationwide facilities management services to our customers. This role will be accountable to meet new business growth targets set annually.  They will be responsible to develop a pipeline of prospective candidates that is aligned to the annual targets and forecast.  This position will work closely with the president of CWS to efficiently and effectively drive new business through the pipeline.  


Essential Duties and Responsivities:

Lead Generation -

This role is directly accountable to generate leads to be loaded and managed in the CRM platform.  These leads should be generated from multiple sources and channels.  The sales manager will be able to measure the effectiveness of lead channels over time and leverage the ones that produce the highest returns

Pipeline Management -

The sales manager will effectively manage the pipeline of prospective new customers. That includes building effective milestones that move prospective customers through the pipeline efficiently and with a high degree of predictability.  The pipeline must always be aligned to CWS new business targets and forecasts and the CRM must always be updated with the most current notes, communications and strategies for each prospect.

The sales manager will master the progression of candidates through the pipeline by measuring actual results against expected results.   

Customer Engagement -

The sales manager must have outstanding communication skills both verbal, written and formal presentations. They need to clearly understand the customer pain points and develop specific strategies and specific content to address them through all forms of communications. They will be required to work directly with the president of CWS to develop commercial models that best serve the customer and CWS.  The sale manager should effectively leverage others in landing new customers.   Specifically knowing when to engage executives and operations to close and on-board new customers.



-   3 years’ experience in a sales position.  Preferably related to facilities operations management.  

-   2-year degree preferable or commensurate experience. 

-   Outstanding communications skills both written and verbal

-   Excellent presentation and listening skills – specifically being able to align customer needs with our capabilities.

-   Outstanding abilities to think strategically around customer issues, operations and business relationships.  

-   Must have the financial acumen around commercial models
